Salt Marsh Publications' mission is to publish quality books and to assist others in successful publication of all printed matter. 

CONSULTING SERVICES

We provide assistance in publishing books and other printed matter.  These activities include: community talks on writing from genealogy, self-publishing advice, document re-writes, layouts, copy editing, content editing, and manuscript and illustration formatting for publication.

Capabilities

• Salt Marsh Publications advises new authors on proper manuscript form, editing, query letters, and copyright information before mailing submissions to publishers.
• We also advise authors on steps to publish their own works--i.e.: manuscript set-up, editing, submission format, illustrations, book covers, print specifications, and printers.
• We help authors set-up their own companies with information on obtaining EIN numbers, ISBN numbers, state sales licenses, tax forms, and marketing.
• We also provide manuscript re-writing--ranging from editing to total ghost writing. 

Initial consultation for any of the above services is free.  Contracted work begins at $25.00/hr. or can be priced by the project.
